Oklahoma's Cannabis Market

The cannabis market here in Oklahoma has grown very fast in a very short time. Oklahoma now has over 370,000 patients and over 2,000 dispensaries! Unfortunately, lawmakers are constantly trying to change the rules and regulations with a variety of house bills. Is our medical program perfect? No. The last thing it needs is restrictions. Unlike most states with a medical program, Oklahoma was set up, so that average working Americans could start a commercial grow, processing or dispensary, but in every market comes outside influences and bigger business trying to get piece of the Oklahoma Cannabis Pie. I do wish we had better protections in place to keep the majority of businesses locally owned, but we missed that opportunity right at the beginning. Even though the market is starting to get saturated, The experience and knowledge that everyone has gained can never be taken away.
